We were unaware of making reservations, but when I say you need to, if possible, I mean it. The place was packed. We sat at the bar. Now we know why. It was a Wednesday, by the way. So we started out with drinks. I had a painkiller, and my husband had a draft beer. We ordered an appetizer. We chose the deviled crawfish stuffed mushroom. It was so delicious. Savory and rich. While waiting for our pizzas, we had the flight of bourbon. It was nice to be able to try something I hadn't ever had. I think I enjoyed the 2022. I ordered the mimic of supreme pizza, and it was so flavorful. I could tell the ingredients were fresh. My husband had pepperoni, Italian sausage, and mushroom pizza. He didn't have any to bring home. There are so many drinks you can try. The owner was very nice.

Charge $1 for extra cheese and when there is barely any cheese at all they refuse to take it off the bill. Rude manager & server. Server was busy eating and on her cellphone that we had to ask her if we could order our food. Had to ask for refills. 1st and last visit.Update: The "Owner" simply lying in response below tells you all you need to know about this place. The cheese comment is laughable but expected. It's clear this place considers customer service a joke. She did not refill our drinks at all until we asked and our drinks were only refilled the one time. No need to argue, just stating the FACTS. But it's ok, we won't return. Bless Your Heart.

We weigh all of our cheese for each pizza. Your pizza received the extra cheese that you paid for, perhaps your extra cheese desire is the same as your drink consumption. Your server said that she refilled your drinks 6 times, so it isn't surprising that you might have had to ask for a refill. 5/6 is pretty good.

Wow, I found my favorite Korean restaurant in Minneapolis .The menu is large ,the variety are generous and prices, super reasonable. The food is DELICIOUS. Already planning on going back asap.

Shinhwa Korean Steakhouse exceeded all expectations, with a modern aesthetic and warm lighting that set the perfect tone for the evening.The service was exceptional—our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. The highlight, of course, was the food. The quality of the meats was outstanding—tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared at the grill at the table. All of the side dishes were fresh and delicious, adding variety and balance to the meal. We especially loved the marinated short rib and the pork belly cuts.Drinks and desserts were also on point. They have a list of sodas, liquor as well as boba tea, and we finished with a plate of the fresh fruit and chocolate cake.If you’re looking for an upscale Korean BBQ experience that doesn’t compromise on authenticity or quality, Shinhwa is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Shinhwa Korean Steakhouse! From the moment we walked in, the service was attentive and friendly. The quality of the meat was top-tier—perfectly tender, and flavorful. We especially loved the premium cuts and the wide variety of side dishes, which were fresh and constantly refilled. This is hands down one of the best Korean BBQ spots we’ve ever been to. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Honestly, this place is all hype and no bite. We came with 5 people and instead of seating us at a table that could clearly fit 6, they crammed us into a 4-person booth and made one of us sit on the end in a chair. Super uncomfortable. To make it worse, the robot that delivers the food kept ramming into the person on the outside. It was funny at first, but definitely not for them.The meat was super thin and had barely any flavor. Totally overrated. Octopus was rubbery. Everything was just meh. Not totally worth the money in my opinion. And the staff? Rude and straight-up incompetent—even though it wasn’t even busy. No excuse for the way they handled things.This place is good for the experience but there are better Korean bbq places in the twin cities.

I really enjoyed the food here with a friend last night — it was delicious and fresh. The staff were incredibly hardworking and attentive, and I truly appreciated their service. I left a good tip because I felt they deserved it.However, I was disappointed to learn afterward that the workers don’t actually receive the tips left by customers. I asked them directly, and they told me the tips don’t go to them. In my opinion, that’s not fair — especially here in America, where tipping is meant to directly reward service staff for their hard work
